Who can help me with a blackmail problem? It is not a place you want to be in life, but blackmail help is available from privacy expert Frank M. Ahearn.
Most victims do not know where to turn.
There is so much conflicting information online that victims simply do not know what to do.
I have been in the extreme privacy business for four decades, and one of my areas of expertise is protecting blackmail victims.
That may involve Grindr blackmail.
Ashley Madison extortion.
Escort sextortion.
Relationship blackmail.
Social media exposure.
Or a blackmailer threatening your spouse, family, employer, or professional life.
I handle the threat for you, work to prevent exposure, and protect your identity.
My protection is not simply about getting you through today.
I also think about what happens afterward.
Your spouse.
Family.
Employment.
Social reputation.
And whether the blackmailer still has a path back into your life.
You can learn more about how I work on my Blackmail Help page.
The First Step Is to Stall
The first step is to stall.
Blackmailers want speed.
They want you frightened enough to pay before you have time to think.
I want the opposite.
Time.
You can learn more about my stall strategy by reading What Happens If You Don’t Pay a Blackmailer? or watching my video:

The stall does not solve the entire problem.
It creates the space needed to deal with it.
Do Not Block or Ignore the Threat
Do not simply block or ignore the blackmailer.
If you do, you run the risk of the blackmailer moving directly toward your family, friends, social media contacts, spouse, or employer.
Maintaining communication gives you a certain amount of control.
It also gives you the opportunity to stall the demands and work to prevent exposure.
As difficult as it may feel, facing the threat is usually part of the solution.
Blocking the messages may make your phone quiet.
It does not necessarily make the blackmailer disappear.
I Take Over the Blackmail Problem
My work is different from simply telling you what to write.
I take over.
The communication moves away from you.
I deal with the person behind the threat.
I stall the demands.
I manage what the blackmailer learns.
When possible, I create disinformation.
I work to prevent exposure.
You step away from the daily pressure.
This is especially important when the blackmailer has found your real identity, spouse, employer, or professional contacts.
You can read more about this on my Blackmail Help | I Take Over article.
Blackmail Help Depends on the Type of Threat
Not every blackmail case is the same.
A remote financial scammer is different from an angry former lover.
A Grindr blackmailer is different from someone who has actually been inside your home.
An escort scam may be about money.
Relationship blackmail may be about control, continued contact, or revenge.
The person behind the threat matters.
So does what they know about you.
That is why I do not believe in one generic script for every blackmail problem.
Protecting Yourself After the Threat
Blackmail help should not end the moment the messages stop.
You also need to think about the future.
What contact information does the blackmailer still have?
Do they know where you work?
Can they find your spouse?
Do they have your real mobile number?
Can they return six months from now?
This is where privacy becomes part of blackmail protection.
I explain that in Creating Blackmail Privacy Is About Future Protection.
The objective is not only to survive today’s threat.
It is to make it harder for the blackmailer to return later.
You Can Handle It Yourself or Hire Me
Some people want professional help.
Others want to handle the problem themselves.
You can hire me to take over.
Or you can read one of my books and follow the strategies I use.
Either way, do not allow panic to make every decision.
Create time.
Understand the threat.
Then act.
