When a client contacted me after visiting an escort, he was terrified. The threat was simple: pay or his family would see everything.
While in the hotel room, the escort had secretly recorded the encounter using a hidden mobile phone. Afterward, identifying him was not difficult. A search of his mobile number revealed he was a local minister with a large congregation.
The escort was not local. She traveled from city to city and had a side business: extortion.
The demand arrived shortly after.
“Pay me $500 every Friday or everyone sees this video.”
The messages included screenshots taken from the recording, leaving little doubt the threat was real.
This is one of the dangers of meeting escorts who travel frequently. The encounter may last an hour, but the exposure threat can follow for months.
