I spent years as a skip tracer finding people through information. I learned how one small piece of information could lead to another, and how those connections eventually led to a person.
Later, I reversed the process.
Instead of using information to find people, I began looking at how information could be controlled, separated and changed to make people more private and difficult to locate.
That’s the foundation of my disappearing work.

I don’t believe privacy is simply deleting your name from websites. Information comes back. New information gets created. Other people create information about you.
I look at the bigger picture.
What does someone find when they search for you? Where does that information lead? What connects your professional life to your personal life? What leads to your home, family or location?
Sometimes information needs to disappear. Sometimes it needs separation. Sometimes disinformation is more useful than deletion.
The objective is simple: make your information less useful to someone trying to find you.
