Paying after exposure has started does not guarantee the blackmailer will stop.
It may show them that shifting the threat works.
Your first job is to stall.
Claim you have no available cash and need three days.
The blackmailer may become aggressive. They may create a new deadline or send screenshots of other people they intend to contact.
Stand your ground.
If they demand a screenshot of your bank account, do not send one. Claim you do not have the banking app on your phone.
Do not reveal your balance.
Do not send identification.
Do not give them additional names.
Stall.
Then get help.
