The blackmailer wants an emotional reaction.
Panic can make you pay before you think.
Fear can make you block the account before the threat is understood.
Your first job is to slow the situation down.
Claim you have no available cash and need three days.
The blackmailer may become aggressive. They may repeat the threats, create a shorter deadline, or send screenshots of people they intend to contact.
Stand your ground.
If they demand a screenshot of your bank account, do not send one. Claim you do not have the banking app on your phone.
Do not send identification.
Do not provide new photographs.
Do not reveal financial information.
Do not name the people you are trying to protect.
Stall.
