The moment you pay, you’re finished. The threats grow, the demands multiply, and your fear becomes their income. The first rule: stall the first payment.
Your stomach will turn, your knees will go weak, but you have to push them off. That’s the game—delay, deflect, and refuse to hand over cash.
Common Threats You’ll Face
- “I made a group chat with your friends.”
- “I messaged your boss on LinkedIn.”
- “I have your spouse’s number.”
Sometimes it is a bluff, and other times real. They’re testing you. Don’t cave. Stand your ground.
Escort blackmail, Grindr scams, Ashley Madison setups—it doesn’t matter. The tactic remains: stall. Even if you met someone in person, keep control by slowing the situation. Play for time, not panic.
How They Try to Control You
Blackmailers want obedience. They’ll order you to text them when you wake up, before you sleep, or answer instantly. That’s not control—it’s theater.
If they demand:
“Why didn’t you text me?”
You respond:
“I was in a meeting.”
“I was driving.”
“I forgot.”
Slow your responses. Lie if you must. Never let them dictate your movements.
The Reality
Blackmail isn’t about secrets. It’s about money. Pure and simple. The threats are tools to get you to pay. Nothing more.
