Delete this account.
Install this software.
Remove yourself from this website.
Those things may have value, but they do not answer the most important question:
What does privacy mean to you?
Your privacy problem is not necessarily someone else’s privacy problem.
Maybe you do not care if people know your profession, but you do not want them knowing where you live.
Maybe you want to maintain a professional online presence while separating your family from it.
Maybe you are wealthy and do not want your assets, relationships, residences, or personal movements connected.
Maybe you need to relocate without making your next destination obvious.
Maybe you simply want to become much harder to find.
That is where Privacy Disappear begins.

Privacy does not have to mean becoming invisible.
It can mean controlling visibility.
Some things stay.

A lot of privacy advice works fine when nothing is wrong.
Then somebody starts looking.
Someone shows up.
An unwanted person finds your address.
A former partner discovers where you moved.
Your personal information gets connected to your business life.
Someone identifies family members you deliberately kept separate.
That is when privacy stops being theoretical.

I spent years as a skip tracer.
My job was finding people.
I learned something important very early:

They are found because information connects.

An employer connects to a location.
A phone number connects to another account.
One small piece of information opens the door to another.

Then I start separating the pieces.

A boundary does not have to make sense to a corporation.
It only has to make sense to you.
If knowing that your home address is difficult to locate makes you feel safer, that matters.
If separating your family from your professional identity gives you peace of mind, that matters.
If leaving an old life behind allows you to move forward, that matters.
